Gregory Doll

Doll Amir & Eley

Gregory Doll is a founding partner of Doll Amir & Eley. Since 1997, he has litigated a wide array of business, intellectual property, real estate, employment, and entertainment disputes. On the plaintiff’s side, he has recovered and collected over $35 million for his clients in the past five years alone. As defense counsel, he has avoided hundreds of millions of dollars of liability alleged against his clients. He and his partners have handled eleven jury or bench trials during the three years the firm has been in existence, achieving an undefeated trial record. In 2006, 2007, and 2008, Greg Doll was named a “Super Lawyer” by Southern California Super Lawyers and Los Angeles magazine. In 2007, after recovering and collecting over $14 million for his clients in a single year, he earned the coveted – and, for a lawyer of his age, unprecedented – distinction of being named one of the 'Top 100” Super Lawyers in Southern California based on a polling of 28,700 lawyers in the community. Mr. Doll has extensive expertise prosecuting and defending against trade secret and unfair competition cases. He has equally extensive experience in matters of copyright infringement, trademark infringement, misappropriation of ideas and publicity rights, as well as a full range of other issues affecting the media and entertainment communities. He is often hired as lead counsel in real estate litigation matters in California and other areas of the country. In recent years, he has developed significant expertise as an employment litigator, specifically in matters involving ERISA, wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage and hour claims. His client base ranges from professional athletes to artists/entertainers to prominent NYSE and NASDAQ companies. He has been retained as lead counsel for matters filed in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. He believes that his clients should be able to depend on their most trusted counsel in all litigation matters, irrespective of where such cases are filed, and it is incumbent on him to retain skilled local counsel to assist him in achieving superior and cost-effective results in any jurisdiction. Mr. Doll received his law degree from the University of Southern California, where he served as an editor of the Law Review and was elected Order of the Coif. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert M. Takasugi in the United States District Court, Central District of California. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, graduating summa cum laude. Prior to founding Doll Amir & Eley, he practiced law at the Century City office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher (1997-2002) and the Beverly Hills firm of Browne & Woods (2002-2004). He is the author of two novels, an avid surfer, and a performing musician.
