Fiona McEntee

Immigration Attorney, Fiona McEntee originally hails from Dublin, Ireland.  As an immigrant to the U.S. herself, she is in a unique position to provide sensitive, compassionate and comprehensive advice to all her clients.

Ms. McEntee received an Honours Bachelor of Civil Law (International) from University College Dublin, Ireland.  During that undergraduate program, Ms. McEntee received a year's full tuition scholarship to study at DePaul University, College of Law. Following that year in Chicago, Ms. McEntee returned to Ireland to complete her degree and focus on returning to Chicago to fulfill her American dream! 

Ms. McEntee went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent, College of Law. During her time at Chicago-Kent, she began to specialize in immigration law completing a one-year internship in various immigration clinics. Ms. McEntee received the CALI, Excellence for the Future, award for her work with the Chicago Legal Clinic - a non-profit legal service organization that provides immigration assistance to the Pilsen community.

Prior to establishing the McEntee Law Group, Ms. McEntee spent several years working for a Chicago-based law full-service immigration firm.

There, Ms. McEntee advised companies of all sizes from small-and medium-sized to large multinational Fortune 500 companies, in various industries such as Technology, Pharmaceuticals, and Engineering. She provided counsel on all major employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories. 

Ms. McEntee also advised and represented professional sports teams in the Chicago area on the most suitable visa options for its foreign-born players. 

In addition, she represented clients in family-based permanent residence applications and applications for U.S. citizenship.

Ms. McEntee is very passionate about her involvement with community-based organizations in the Chicagoland area.  Specifically, she serves as Director on the Board of the Chicago Irish Immigrant Support Group (CIIS).  CIIS is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the immigration, social and economic needs of immigrants in Chicago.  CIIS is part of an umbrella group of immigrant organizations, the Illinois Coalition for Immigrants and Refugee Rights and a core member of the Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers.

Ms. McEntee is also a Board Member of the American Ireland Fund (AIF), Young Leaders Program.  The IAF is a philanthropic organization dedicated to raising funds to support programs of peace and reconciliation, arts and culture, education and community development throughout the island of Ireland.
