Arnold Itkin
Claire, a Louisiana native and LSU alumna, developed a passion for personal injury law after being struck by a drunk driver during her senior year. This experience drove her to advocate for others facing similar adversities. She excelled at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, earning accolades like the CALI Excellence Award for Legal Research and Writing and participating in trial competitions. Her legal education was enriched by studying comparative law in Lyon, France, and interning under Chief Judge Shelly Dick and U.S. District Magistrate Judge Richard L. Bourgeois, Jr.
Upon earning her Juris Doctorate and a graduate certificate in energy law and policy, Claire joined Arnold & Itkin in Houston. As an attorney, she quickly demonstrated her litigation skills, participating in hundreds of depositions and trying 7 cases to verdict, securing nearly $60 million in settlements for her clients. Her role in a significant plant explosion case against Exxon Mobil showcased her ability to secure favorable outcomes under pressure. Recognized by her peers for her tenacity and effectiveness, Claire continues to be a formidable advocate at Arnold & Itkin, tirelessly fighting for the rights and futures of her clients.
