Catherine “Katie” Testa Tillman is an associate of Consumer Attorneys.
Prior to joining Consumer Attorneys, Katie was with Gulfcoast Legal Services, a non-profit legal aid organization serving Pinellas, Manatee and Sarasota counties in FL. At Gulfcoast, Katie was an attorney in the Financial Stability department and represented clients with a wide range of consumer issues which included: medical bill disputes, social security disputes, contract disputes, debt collection defense, credit harassment, garnishment, credit report review, car repossession and unfair and deceptive trade practices. Katie also drafted lifetime planning documents and Wills while practicing at Gulfcoast. Prior to Gulfcoast, Katie worked for Twelfth Judicial Circuit Judge, the Honorable Charles Sniffen, when she was in private practice. As an associate of the Law Office of Charles Sniffen, PA, Katie practiced civil litigation in Bradenton, FL. Prior to that Katie was with Kelley & Ferraro, LLP, in Cleveland, OH for eight years. Kelley & Ferraro is one of the largest plaintiff’s asbestos litigation law firms in the U.S. As an associate of Kelley & Ferraro, Katie was part of a team that handled multiple multimillion dollar cases.
Katie is from Latrobe, PA. Katie earned a Bachelor of Art in English and History from Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, PA, in 1999. Katie earned a Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland, OH, in 2003.
Katie is an active member of the Manatee American Inn of Court, Manatee County Bar Association and the Manatee County Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
