Kevin Murphy

KEVIN C. MURPHY is the co-founder and managing partner of Murphy Jones LLP. Mr. Murphy supervises firm administrative duties in addition to coordinating all substantive legal services. 

Mr. Murphy earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Law in 2003 from the University of California, San Diego (U.C.S.D.). Mr. Murphy obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from California Western School of Law in 2006. 

Mr. Murphy currently is a member of the State Bars of California and Nevada, the American Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, the American Inns of Court, American Health Lawyers Association, St. Thomas More Society of San Diego (President 2011), American Association of Nurse Attorneys, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, and the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys.

Mr. Murphy represents healthcare professionals before the licensing boards of California and Nevada. In addition, Mr. Murphy represents civil lawsuit litigants in personal injury matters. Mr. Murphy's charitable experiences include conducting jury trials in mental health conservatorship matters acting Pro Bono on behalf of the Short Foundation Legal Center, Inc. clients, and serving on the executive board of the Knights of Columbus Blessed Junipero Serra Council #9498. Mr. Murphy also maintains a small population of entertainment clientele in the Hollywood film/acting/music industries.
