Sean O'Bryan

Education

Sean received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Loyola University School of Law, with a certification in tax law. He has been recognized as the Top 40 under 40 Personal Injury Lawyers in both Illinois and Michigan, and was included in the Super Lawyers® list in 2021, the membership comprising of a rigorous selection process and independent review. He was further recognized in the top 2.5% of lawyers in Michigan on the Rising Stars list of Super Lawyers® in 2021. He is a member of the American Association of Justice, Chicago Bar Association, Michigan Association of Justice, and Trojan Horse Method for American Trial Lawyers. He remains active with personal injury trial lawyers throughout the country in the Case Analysis program. He also earned an MBA with a Concentration in Law at the Quinlan School of Business.

Bar Admission

Sean is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, State Bar of Illinois, US District Court Northern District of Illinois, US District Court Eastern District of Michigan. In courts where not formally admitted around the country like the Western District of Pennsylvania, Western District of Washington, District of Massachusetts, and the Eastern District of North Carolina, he practices there on a case-by-case basis.

Practice Areas

Sean practices federal maritime litigation representing injured seamen and fishermen seeking compensation under the Jones Act and the maritime law with O'Bryan Law Center. He also practices personal injury civil litigation involving Uber and Lyft accidents with his practice, The Uber Lawyer. He is an active member of his Church, where he participates as a Knight of Columbus, a fraternal organization putting faith in action to service and protect families.
