The Law Offices of Gabriel Dorman
Gabriel Dorman began his career at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office where he first worked as a certified legal clerk while in law school and was eventually hired on as a deputy public defender where he represented both juveniles and adults in a wide variety of criminal matters. He has spent the last 10 years in private practice successfully defending individuals throughout Southern California on charges ranging from DUI, violent sex crimes and murder
Time spent practicing criminal law in both the public and private sector has provided Gabriel Dorman with a firm understanding of the dynamics, bureaucracy and politics involved with the criminal justice system and has enabled him to establish relationships with judges, prosecutors, probation officers and police detectives throughout all Southern California counties.
Gabriel Dorman brings a unique perspective and philosophy to effectively defend an individual charged with committing a criminal offense. He believes that proper representation begins with a firm understanding of the client’s concerns, needs and desires. Nothing serves a client better than obtaining the result they hope to achieve. An open line of communication must be kept with the client. This allows the client to be informed and understand what is happening with his/her case.
Gabriel Dorman believes in taking action. He takes a very proactive approach when clients are accused of criminal misconduct. He understands that police agencies often only gather evidence in support of their case against the accused. He conducts intensive defense investigations early in the process in an effort to establish his client’s innocence. This aggressive approach has led to numerous favorable results including cases being dismissed and, in some instances, not being filed at all.
Gabriel Dorman understands that, in order to be successful, a criminal defense lawyer must understand all the players involved. What works in Los Angeles County does not necessarily work in Ventura County. What works in Orange County may not work in San Bernardino County. There may be a need for flexibility in order to adapt to a particular jurisdiction.
Gabriel Dorman understands what it means to defend your rights and is committed to achieving the result that you deserve.
