Colleen Sparks

Colleen is a preeminent Southern California Family Law Attorney in Riverside, with the Law Office of Heath L. Baker.  Colleen brings options to clients who are looking for or need someone who can fight for them, in a way that they have not yet discovered.  Colleen understands that no one really “wins” in family law, and she is able to help her clients find personalized and tailored solutions to their problems.

Colleen is a native Southern Californian who attended Northern Arizona University and then earned her Juris Doctorate from California Southern Law School in Riverside, California.

However, Colleen’s journey in the legal profession actually began when she was in high school, where she earned accolades as the Pre-Trial Attorney for the Murrieta Valley High School Mock Trial Team.  Colleen also spent her time as a student attorney in her local Youth Court program, prosecuting and defending fellow adolescents charged with criminal infractions.

Colleen went on to gain invaluable knowledge of the intricacies of the court system and insight into the judicial process during her time as a Superior Court Clerk for the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside.  Colleen’s interest in Family Law was sparked in 2015 when she obtained a position as a law clerk with the Law Office of Heath L. Baker during her last year of law school.  Since her admission to the State Bar of California in 2016, Colleen has continued to gain extensive knowledge of California family law, representing clients in family law matters in California Superior Court in Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and Los Angeles County.

Colleen excels in advocating for her client’s legal and emotional needs in all stages of litigation, inside and outside of the courtroom.  Colleen is a compassionate attorney with a strong ability to advocate for the best interests of her clients in divorce cases and their children in custody and paternity actions.

Colleen is active in the Pick Group of Riverside Young Professionals, the Family Law Section of the Riverside County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the California Lawyers Association.
