Lisa also represents our banking and financial institution clients in loan documentation review services, workouts of distressed loans, collateral recovery, and enforcement of security interests and contract rights through litigation and/or bankruptcy. Lisa also represents clients in commercial leasing matters, including lease drafting, review, negotiation and enforcement. Lisa assists solid waste industry clients with legal issues involved in the development, permitting, and operation of solid waste facilities and transportation. She also represents our solid waste industry clients in the resolution or litigation of disputes, including disputes with state, county or municipal bodies. Lisa further represents companies in employment matters, with particular emphasis in the prevention and resolution of employee disputes and claims. Lisa's employment practice includes employer representation in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings and in alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediation and arbitration. Lisa obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (magna cum laude) with a major in Real Estate and a minor in Finance from the University of Georgia Honors Program in 1979, having previously attended Georgia Institute of Technology during her last year of high school.
