Alex King

Alex King's upbringing took place in Jacksonville. As a National Merit Scholar, he pursued his higher education at the University of Florida, consistently earning a place on the Dean or President's list throughout every semester. Graduating with honors and boasting an impressive 3.95 GPA, he successfully attained a dual degree in Political Science and Criminology.

Subsequently, he pursued a law degree at the University of Florida, where he assumed the role of Managing Editor for two prestigious law journals. His exceptional work in White Collar Crime was recognized with awards. Graduating near the top of his class, Alex's legal journey also included two productive summers as a clerk for the United States Attorney's Office in Jacksonville, followed by a summer clerkship for a local Federal District Court Judge.

After completing his legal studies, Alex embarked on a career as an Assistant State Attorney, assuming the role of managing the DUI Unit for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. His exemplary performance earned him the prestigious Mother's Against Drunk Driver's (MADD) Prosecutor of the Year award. During this period, he specialized in handling complex DUI prosecutions, collaborated with legislative working groups, and played a pivotal role in training numerous prosecutors and law enforcement officials across the southeastern United States.
