Mario de la Garza

 Mario de la Garza, a graduate of Harvard University and Northwestern University School of Law, founded The DLG Law Group, where he represents victims of catastrophic personal injury in a variety of contexts, including industrial, workplace, and premises injuries, trucking and serious automobile accidents, wrongful death, defective products, and medical malpractice.

Mr. de la Garza also represents individuals and companies in complex commercial disputes.

Obtained an $11,162,529.00 verdict for the mother and widow of a young father killed by a drunk driver who was overserved by a bar, although neither the bar not the drunk could pay anything toward the judgment 

Obtained a $3,250,000 settlement for a bicyclist who was catastrophically injured after being smashed and thrown by a truck driven by a reckless driver 

Obtained a confidential multimillion dollar settlement for a worker who suffered severe burn and electrical injuries on the job 

Obtained a substantial but confidential monetary sum for the widow and children of a hardworking demolition worker that lost his life on the job; 

Obtained a substantial but confidential monetary sum for a young mother and her little boy, who developed Kernicterus, a devastating, life-long bilirubin-induced brain dysfunction, after his doctors and nurses failed to give him the proper medical treatment in the NICU 

Obtained a substantial but confidential monetary sum for a young father, husband, and worker who went the extra mile after his boss had assigned him to perform a task only two could perform, leading to catastrophic crushing injuries to his foot that severely limited his ability to work 

Obtained a substantial but confidential monetary sum for a seasoned psychologist and grandfather who, while riding his bike in the neighborhood, suffered severe injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, when he was clotheslined by a rope that was extended
across the street by a tree removal contractor, who had been hired by a property management company that failed to properly vet the contractor 

Obtained a substantial settlement for two young women when they sustained severe injuries after an eighteen wheeler crashed into their small car 

Obtained a substantial settlement for a couple and their two children who were severely injured after a delivery truck driver improperly drove the box truck in reverse, hitting the family’s car and dragging it for a distance 

Obtained a substantial settlement for a young man who suffered severe injuries after a fuel tanker truck ran a red light and crashed into his small car
