Sean Ruppert

Sean Ruppert, a partner and business law and litigation attorney at Kraemer, Manes & Associates, brought his independent practice into KM&A in 2015. His main focus in law is business and civil litigation. When Sean is not fighting for employee rights, he's providing legal guidance to small businesses to ensure law compliance and avoid future legal issues.

During consultations with small business owners, Sean offers guidance in employment practices, entity formation, contract negotiation, and insurance decisions. He also creates strategies for businesses to avoid legal nightmares and prepare for the future. Sean can provide one-time consultations or be retained for on-hand legal aid.

For employees and former employees, Sean represents men and women who have suffered employment discrimination, workplace harassment, and wrongful termination. He listens to each client's story and takes the necessary steps to ensure a favorable outcome for their case.

While attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Law from where he graduated, Sean interacted with the Immigration Law Clinic and provided pro bono legal aid to refugees in asylum hearings. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and worked as a reporter for a newspaper for several years before attending law school.

Sean volunteers with Project Olympus, a Carnegie Mellon University affiliated business incubator. He guides entrepreneurs through the legal mine field of starting and managing a business.
