CARLOS A. RODRIGUEZ-VIDAL, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a shareholder of the law firm of Goldman Antonetti & Córdova, P.S.C. in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he chairs the litigation and trial practice department. He double majored in philosophy and Spanish at Haverford and received his B.A. in 1979. Carlos was a José Padín Scholar at the College. He earned his J.D. from Columbia University in 1982. Goldman represents primarily corporate clients in civil and commercial matters. Over the years, Mr. Rodriguez-Vidal has worked at matters involving various areas of substantive and procedural law, including federal practice and procedure; construction disputes; contracts (including extensive knowledge of commercial contracts relating to franchising and distribution); banking; constitutional; antitrust law; product liability; and insurance. He also chairs the board of directors of the Community Law Office, a public interest law firm jointly funded by the Legal Services Corporation and Inter-American University Law School in San Juan, which provides legal services in civil matters to indigent clients of metropolitan San Juan.
