Christine Gille

I am a family law specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. I have practiced family law since 1989 and am a partner in the Pasadena office of Gille Kaye Law Group, PC. I am on the board of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists as assistant editor of "Specialist" magazine and on the editorial board of the Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine. I am on the planning committee of the Pasadena Bar Association and am the immediate past chair of Minors at Risk Caucus for the Pasadena Bar Association. I speak to bar associations, paralegal programs, and parent groups on a range of custody and evidence issues. In the past 12 months I have spoken on psychotherapist privilege, evidence, move-aways, child interviewing, parenting responsibilities, and ethical financial litigation. My mediation and litigation practice emphasizes the finding of practical solutions for the tough cases involving mental health issues, abuse, relocation, substance dependencies, and children in high-conflict families or with special needs. In addition to custody issues, I use my financial background and education to help with difficult support and property issues. I am also frequently court-appointed as minor's counsel for children in high-conflict custody and guardianship cases.
