Meet Anjali Nigam
She has experience litigating cases on both sides of the aisle giving her both a defense and plaintiffs’ perspective on each case that she takes. Anjali has litigation and trial experience in both State and Federal courts across the country.
In her career, Anjali has a number of years defending small business in commercial and business claims, as well as working on class action and large antitrust matters. Her training helped prepare her for plaintiffs work as she now takes on defendants like those she used to represent. Her defense training also helps her anticipate the other side’s strategies.
Anjali has had a decade of experience with a number of plaintiffs firms including The Ammons Law Firm. She has had the opportunity to carve out a niche for herself in trucking litigation and dram shop cases learning from the best and working with some of the foremost experts in the field.
Ms. Nigam approaches each case as if it is her only case. She dedicates herself to serving her client and working tirelessly to helping them obtain justice.

Reached a confidential settlement amount. CenterPoint installed a plastic pipe some years prior to the house explosion. The pipe cracked causing natural gas to leak under the foundation of the home eventually igniting causing the explosion and fire.

Confidential settlement of death and multi-party injury product defect case. While the parties were in a Toyota Tacoma, the vehicle fishtailed as it rounded a curve and eventually steered out of controlled and rolled. Three passengers were seriously injured in the accident, and another passenger was killed. Plaintiffs alleged the Toyota PreRunner was defective because it was not equipped with VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) a computerized technology feature that would have prevented the loss-of-control rollover at issue.

Confidential settlement of death and multi-party injury product defect case. This family was traveling down an Oklahoma highway when the driver lost control and rolled over. Each of the occupants were injured and the driver died at the scene.
Plaintiffs claimed the Explorer was not crashworthy because it lacked side curtain airbags.

A confidential settlement was reached. The individuals in the Ford F250 when the vehicle’s left front tire failed by tread separation. Although belted, both occupants were seriously injured.
Plaintiffs claimed defects in the subject tire’s design and manufacture caused the tread separation.
Plaintiffs also alleged that the Ford F250 was defective because of a defect in the hydroboost brake system.

A confidential settlement was reached in this 18-wheeler accident case where a pedestrian was struck and killed. A Federal Express driver/employee, pulled his 18-wheeler into the Love’s Truck Stop to refuel. As he drove into one of the fueling bays, he struck a pedestrian. Plaintiffs alleged the FedEx driver failed to keep a proper lookout. Plaintiffs also alleged FedEx was also negligent for failing to properly train, instruct, supervise, monitor, assign and manage its drivers.

Settled a claim on behalf of bus passengers injured when the shell of a bus separated from the frame leaving passengers exposed during a crash.
Plaintiffs alleged in the lawsuit the bus was not crashworthy because it was defectively designed and manufactured.

Settled Dram Shop case involving minors served alcohol to the point of intoxication and thereafter permitted to drive. Two underage girls went to a nightclub. At closing time, the two girls left the club and were involved in a car accident that claimed one girls’ life.
Plaintiffs filed a Dram Shop lawsuit against the nightclub for serving a minor to the point of her being a danger to herself and others.
