Billy Brown

Attorney Billy J. Brown has been a partner of Mark & Brown, P.A. since 2013. While he is experienced in many legal areas, Attorney Brown focuses his practice on workers’ compensation and contractual, medical, and business law. Additionally, his passion for helping families through tough situations has led him to dedicate a large part of his practice to elder care law.

Due to his firsthand knowledge on various areas of business including restaurants, medical offices, and internet companies, Attorney Brown commits much of his efforts to helping business owners develop and execute efficient and well thought-out strategies in order to achieve desired outcomes. In addition, he understands the economic difficulties families face when their elderly loved ones suffer from conditions. He is dedicated to helping those families receive the representation they deserve when dealing with those in need of medical care.

Prior to his career in law, Attorney Brown attended the University of Central Florida where he received his Bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in legal studies and graduated cum laude. Following his undergraduate coursework, Attorney Brown received his Juris Doctorate from Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. Additionally, he took part in an education abroad at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. During this time, he conducted research and helped find solutions to international law and human rights issues.

Through his years of experience, Attorney Brown has published articles with ARDA and received awards such as Gillenwater Award for Excellence, American Legion Award for Distinguished Achievement, and Business of the Year granted by Chamber of Business.
