Ms. Roberts obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in 1978 from Wesleyan College, Macon, Georgia, and a Juris Doctorate Degree, cum laude, in 1981 from the Joseph H. Lumpkin School of Law of the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. While in law school, she was a member of the Georgia Law Review and served as the Executive Editor of the Georgia Law Review. She also received the Georgia Association of Women Lawyer's Outstanding Woman Law Student Award.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Roberts worked as the Vice President for Legal Affairs and as Special Assistant to the President for Legal Affairs at the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. She also worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia.

Ms. Roberts is a past member of the Review Panel of the Disciplinary Board of the State Bar of Georgia and a past Chairman of the Review Panel. She is a past member of the Georgia State Board of Accountancy and a past Chairman of the Accountancy Board. Among other activities, she currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Wesleyan College, where she has previously served as Vice Chairman. She is also an avid genealogist and serves as a Family History Consultant at the Atlanta Family History Center.

Ms. Roberts is admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Ms. Roberts concentrates in business and contract litigation. She also practices in the areas of bankruptcy law, business formations, church law, labor and employment law, and probate law.
