Elliot Sol Abrams

Elliot Sol Abrams was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended public schools in Raleigh and then went to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At UNC, Elliot majored in Political Science and was selected to the Phi Beta Kappa honors society. After graduating in the top 3% of his class, he moved to Washington D.C. to study at Georgetown Law, where he was selected to join Georgetown’s Moot Court team and won Best Brief at a regional competition. He was also an officer in the Georgetown Law chapter of Habitat for Humanity and took courses with well-known criminal defense and political law attorneys.
Elliot’s practice focuses on state and federal criminal defense, professional license defense, and government ethics investigations. He has defended people charged with mail and wire fraud, health care fraud, obstruction of justice, tax evasion, and money laundering, as well as drug offenses, assaults and murder. Elliot has also worked with attorneys, medical professionals, and real estate agents in responding to inquiries from professional licensing boards, and he has assisted public officials and candidates in preparing government ethics disclosure forms and handling government ethics investigations.
