After attending the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Reid was enticed to the Gulf coast by the law school that consistently ranks at or near the top in the nation in Trial Advocacy and Legal Research & Writing, Stetson University College of Law. He graduated Cum Laude, ranking in the top 10% of his class, and was a recipient of the Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and William F. Blews Award for Pro Bono Service. After being sworn-in to the Florida Bar, he began practicing criminal defense while also serving as co-counsel for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Tampa Bay.
Returning to his hometown of Jacksonville after spending his legal studies and career in St. Petersburg/Tampa, Reid is eager to bring his experience to the Law Office of John M. Phillips where he will be practicing Criminal Defense and civil litigation.
