EXPERTISE Samantha Rosenberg has over 12 years of experience representing employers in a full range of employment-related matters. Ms. Rosenberg has represented large and small employers in the financial services, fashion, retail, food service, telecommunications and textile industries. Ms. Rosenberg has extensive experience providing advice and counsel to managers, human resources personnel and in-house attorneys on all types of personnel-related issues. She has also litigated and resolved numerous claims brought under federal, state and local employment statutes, including Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, the FLSA, the New York State Human Rights Law and the New York City Human Rights Law, as well as numerous contract and tort actions. Prior to founding the Law Office of Samantha Rosenberg, Ms. Rosenberg practiced employment law at several of the preeminent employment law firms in the country, including Littler Mendelson, P.C., Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. She also interned at the Office to the Counsel to the President (The White House) during the summer after her second year of law school and clerked for the Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals the year after completing law school. BAR MEMBERSHIPS AND PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS Ms. Rosenberg is licensed to practice law in New York, Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Ms. Rosenberg is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. EDUCATION Ms. Rosenberg receive her J.D., with honors, from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1994, where she was an Assistant Editor of the Maryland Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif . Ms. Rosenberg received her B.A., magna cum laude, in political science from Kenyon College in 1991, where she was selected to be a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha (National Political Science Honor Society).
