Head of legal management for $5.7B engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for 5 mtpa plant in $15B LNG project in Angola, Africa, which is the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa. Managing counsel for permanent residential housing development in Angola, Africe, consisting of 493 homes. Managing counsel on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a power generation plant, transmission line to Soyo (Angola, Africa) grid, and associated Soyo central substation upgrades. Managing counsel for related claims and dispute resolution. Counsels company domestically and internationally in the areas of transaction drafting and intellectual property licensing, negotiation and management; dispute resolution, case strategy and settlement negotiations; corporate governance; FCPA, anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws; privacy/data protection issues; risk management; and finance transactions. Developed, implemented and manages claims management program that includes conversion of all material company records to digital database. Advisor to board of directors, executive management team and investors. Manages and supervises internal team and outside counsel.
