Attorney Gouveia graduated from Bishop Stang High School in Smith Mills, MA in 1985. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1989 from UMASS Dartmouth. She received her law degree from Southern New England Law School in 1998.

Attorney Gouveia is admitted to practice law in RI and MA state court and MA United States District Court.
