THE COURT.-

The opinion filed in this matter on July 21, 2005, is modified as follows:

On page 590 [36 Cal.4th 590, advance report], in the first full paragraph, the reference to section 3000.1, subdivision (a), which currently reads ? 3000.1, subd. (a) [an inmate sentenced pursuant to ? 1168 to a maximum of life imprisonment shall remain on parole for life].) is modified to read: ? 3000.1, subd. (a) [an inmate sentenced pursuant to ? 1168 to a maximum of life imprisonment for murder shall remain on parole for life].)

The modification does not effect a change in the judgment.
