About Norman Kurtz
I have been practicing law for more than thirty-five years, dedicated to meeting the needs of each individual client. Concentrating in real estate transactions, family law, estate planning (wills and trusts) and small businesses, I have been serving clients in the Mt. Prospect / Northwest Suburban area since 1976.
I am an experienced negotiator, mediator and litigator, delivering legal services in a highly professional, personal and quality manner. I am licensed to practice law in Illinois and New Jersey and have had extensive trial experience in several different practice areas. I have served as a court mediator for the Center for Conflict Resolution and have served as an arbitrator for the Cook County Circuit Court.
I have supplemented my Mt. Prospect law practice by my active involvement in community and charitable activities. I am the past chairman of the Mount Prospect Economic Development Commission and a past board member of the School District 21 Board of Education. I am a long standing member of the Illinois and Northwest Suburban Bar Associations and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.
