Jeffrey Cowan

Jeffrey W. Cowan is a Los Angeles business and employment litigator / trial lawyer.

Since 2003, Jeffrey has had an AV rating (the highest given) from Martindale.com, and he also has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer for 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.  Jeffrey has tried (and won) jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations.  He also has considerable appellate experience.

Jeffrey also is a former professional magician who “performed” his way through Cornell University (where he graduated cum laude) and the UCLA School of Law – and who still sometimes moonlights at trade shows.  During law school, Jeffrey also headlined at the Magic Castle.  He has performed at venues ranging from the Playboy Mansion to the Friars Club in Los Angeles, corporate trade shows and events in Las Vegas and New York, and the Canadian and Dutch embassies in Washington DC.

Finally but not least, Jeffrey is a devoted father to his identical twin sons Matthew and Jason.
