Chris’ litigation practice involves working with local municipalities, individuals and businesses in all types of civil actions, to include business litigation, securities litigation and personal injury law.
Immediately before coming to Isaac, Brant, Ledman & Teetor, Chris was an enforcement attorney at the Ohio Division of Securities, where he investigated securities fraud, issued administrative orders, and suspended or revoked Ohio broker-dealer and investment adviser licenses. Prior to being an enforcement attorney, Chris was an associate at a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ law firm, where his practice involved securities fraud litigation, complex business litigation and various types of class action lawsuits.
Chris is licensed to practice in all Ohio state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Chris graduated from Capital University Law School (J.D., cum laude). While in law school, Chris was a member of the International Moot Court team and earned the Capital University Individual Advocacy Award.
Prior to practicing law, Chris served honorably as an Army Intelligence officer and a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom I. Chris received his undergraduate degree from Wright State University, where he was an Army ROTC cadet.
He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association Litigation Counsel and the Columbus Bar Association. Chris also works with the Central Ohio Chapter of the Crohns & Colitis Foundation, the American Veterans Association and the Disabled American Veterans Association.
Formerly of Portsmouth, Ohio, Chris now resides in Gahanna with his wife Ashley, also an attorney, and their son, Isaac.
