Donato Pompo is president of Ceramic Tile And Stone Consultants Inc. (CTaSC) and heads the team of expert consultants comprised of accomplished ceramic tile and stone installers, architects, engineers, construction scientists, and other industry specialists located throughout the USA.  CTaSC assists its clients on a nationwide basis in solving and avoiding installation problems through consultation to include forensic inspections services, expert witness services, quality control inspection services, installation specification services, and training services. 

A ceramic tile and natural stone expert witness and investigator, Donato Pompo’s career in the ceramic tile and stone industry spans over 30 years.  Early on he had experience as an installer, then as an importer/distributor, and later as a manufacturer of installation products for ceramic tile and stone.  He is the past chairman of the Ceramic Tile Institute of America technical committee, he is a member of the Marble Institute of America (MIA), he is a regular participant of the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) Handbook for Ceramic Tile committee, and he is a member of the ANSI A108 Specifications for the Installation of Ceramic Tile committees that set the industry standards.   

Donato is a Certified Microbial Remediator (CMR).  He has a biochemistry education with an MBA degree.  He is certified as a Ceramic Tile Consultant (CTC) through the Ceramic Tile Institute of America.  He is a Construction Document Technologist (CDT) certified through the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) that qualifies him to write architectural specifications, and he is a Recognized Consultant through NTCA.

Donato is referred for inspections, investigations, expert witness services, and other consulting services by Tile Council of North America (TCNA), National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), Marble Institute of America (MIA), Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), and other industry organizations.
