Mr. Freedman is Chairman and CEO of RFx Legal, LLC. He is also the Founder and Chairman of AMERICAN Legal Search ("ALS").
RFx Legal™ offers proprietary technology that streamlines the way corporations and government agencies source and procure legal services. ALS has been listed on Inc Magazine’s “Inc. 500” and “Inc 5000” as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the US. ALS has been a recipient of numerous awards including the “Future 50 Award” and the “Best Place to Work” from several of American City Business Journals regional journals. ALS has also been a recipient of BusinessTN Magazine’s “Fast 50”.
Mr. Freedman was founder and CEO of AMICUS Legal Staffing, Inc. In less than four years, he led the company from a start-up to the largest, privately held legal search firm in the United States, which he then sold to a NYSE company in 1997. AMICUS received numerous awards for exceptional growth and in 1997 was ranked 99th on the “Inc. 500” list. Mr. Freedman has also been a finalist for “Entrepreneur of the Year”.
Mr. Freedman was a founding member/investor of Background America, LLC which was later sold to Kroll Inc. – the world’s leading risk consulting company. He was also a founder and board member of two technology service companies with international offices in Egypt and India.
Mr. Freedman’s entrepreneurial spirit has touched a number of individuals and companies throughout the US and abroad. He was a founding member/investor of three Inc. 500 companies two of which were acquired by NYSE listed companies.
Mr. Freedman has spent more than a decade building multi-state, international legal/technology service businesses. He’s an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience advising, consulting and growing start up ventures.
Mr. Freedman is a member of the Nashville Bar Assocation and serves on numerous civic boards including: NASLC, EO and the Nashville Zoo. Mr. Freedman has earned a J.D. and a B.S. in Finance.
