He also represents professionals facing disciplinary matters from the state licensing authorities -- the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
He has represented appraisers, dentists, engineers, midwives, nurses, physicians, realtors, veterinarians. Before he began representing professionals he prosecuted physicians for the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.
Paul was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994. He was educated at Presbyterian College (B.A.), Central College London Program; University of South Carolina (M.A., 1990; J.D., 1994), Corvinus University of Budapest Summer Program. In Law School he was President of the James L. Petigru Public Interest Law Society, and Editorial Staff, South Carolina Environmental Law Journal (now, Southeastern Environmental Law Journal).
