Case Specific Achievements
· Discovered a fine print revision date on a document that proved an insurance company did not notify the insured of a pilot’s exclusion resulting in a $350,000 settlement on a $100,000 life insurance policy.
· Tracked down an out-of-state investment account and prepared documents to seize funds to partially satisfy a $2.2 million judgment despite IRS and state tax board liens against the judgment debtor.
· Located two out-of-state law enforcement officers who testified that they had experienced a loss of control in a helicopter caused by a defective part, similar to an incident that led to a crash resulting in multiple fatalities. Case settled for $1.7 million.
· Identified employees of chemical company who had knowledge of deliberate dumping of toxins that contaminated our clients’ wells. Case settled prior to trial for $6.3 million on behalf of 16 plaintiffs.
