Mr. Gays practices primarily in the Richmond, Virginia metropolitian area representing individuals and business with their personal and commercial ventures. He is also a successful civil litigator. Mr. Gays was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1991. Mr. Gays' admissions include the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Virginia and U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit. Mr. Gays received his undergraduate education at Virginia Commonwealth University (B.S., cum laude, 1986) and his law degree from George Mason University School of Law (J.D., 1990). From 1195 - 2000 Mr. Gays was an Adjunct Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, Department of Criminal Justice. Memberships include the Chesterfield, Richmond, and American Bar Associations; and, the American Bankruptcy Institute.
