MBA DNA Consulting, LLC

Mehul B. Anjaria has testified as a DNA expert in state and federal courts and has been deposed in civil matters. He leverages his exceptional ability to distill down complicated forensic DNA issues to their essence to deliver practical forthright opinions to his clients.

He commenced his specialization in forensic DNA analysis in 1998 as a criminalist with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Scientific Investigations Division and rose to the rank of DNA technical leader in 2004. Mr. Anjaria has been trained at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA to audit DNA laboratories according to the FBI’s Quality Assurance Standards for Forensic DNA Testing Laboratories. At the beginning of his forensic science career (March 1996-December 1998) he was a criminalist at two different ASCLD/LAB accredited sheriff’s department crime laboratories and worked in the analysis of solid-dose controlled substances and field investigation of clandestine drug laboratories.

Mehul B. Anjaria earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago before starting his forensic science career in California. After gaining real-world forensic science experience, he earned a Master of Science degree in criminalistics from the California State University at Los Angeles in 2003.
