John Amos Whatley is a seasoned personal injury lawyer with over 19 years of courtroom experience, primarily in personal injury law.

Mr. Whatley advocates for individuals who have suffered serious injuries in car accidents, motorcycle accidents, and large truck accidents, as well as in slip and fall incidents. He also represents clients with severe injuries resulting from medical malpractice, securing compensation from negligent doctors, surgical centers, and hospitals. Additionally, he assists grieving families in wrongful death cases, helping them pursue justice and recover compensation.

Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Mr. Whatley attended Trinity High School and the University of Louisville, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy in 2002. As a student-athlete, he was a letterman in football, made the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, and received both the Conference USA Academic Award and the John E. Brown Scholarship.

He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Mississippi College School of Law in 2005 and is licensed to practice in Kentucky and Mississippi, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. Mr. Whatley is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, and the Kentucky Justice Association.
