About Robert Kingsland

Robert is the son of a Federal Magistrate judge and a registered nurse. Robert’s paternal grandmother, Helen Kingsland, was a social worker who struggled to raise two sons during the Great Depression after her husband died early on in their marriage. Helen always identified with the disadvantaged and dedicated her life to helping others. Her social conscience left its stamp on Robert’s father who instilled it in Robert and Robert’s siblings.

A graduate of the law school at Georgetown University, Robert has been admitted as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (membership is limited to the top 5% of trial attorneys) and Superlawyers of Missouri and Kansas. Robert is a long-standing board member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. He has been a frequent speaker at seminars. An article that he wrote pertaining to sepsis arising out of laparoscopic abdominal surgery was published in Trial Magazine - a nationally circulated, peer reviewed publication - in 2014.

Robert has resolved 18 cases for amounts equaling and exceeding $1 million. He is passionate about his work. He knew that he wanted to be a lawyer beginning when he was in third grade.
