Michelene Eberhard, Esq.
Michelene Eberhard has been practicing law since 1992. She received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from University of Michigan-Dearborn, where she graduated first in her class. She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School, Detroit, Michigan.
Ms. Eberhard held a legal aid position until 1994, when she began her private practice. She practices mainly in municipal, district and circuit courts in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and in the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has had occasion to practice in districts and circuits throughout the State of Michigan, and in federal courts throughout the nation pro hac vice. Ms. Eberhard has extensive litigation and courtroom practice and experience. She is a regular judge of Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions.
Ms. Eberhard is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federal Bar Association, the Macomb County Bar Association, Wayne County SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners) Board of Directors, the Italian-American Bar Association, and the Waldorf Early Childhood Education Association of North America. She is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Character and Fitness Committee, and the Macomb County Bar Association’s Juvenile Law Committee and Criminal Law Committee. Additionally, she is a past member of the American Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, the Wayne County Criminal Defense Bar Association, and the Board of Trustees of Renaissance Unity Church in Warren, Michigan.
