Hector Chavana Sr. obtained his master’s degree from Chicago University and graduated from Thurgood Marshall Law School in 1980. He has had decades of experience in various areas of the law including real estate, family and criminal law. Hector Sr. is admitted to practice in the Southern District of Texas and has been a practicing lawyer in Houston since the eighties. He has earned various acknowledgments for his community work.
When Hector Jr. entered law school in 2014, he was an active insurance agent and had a real estate broker license. While in law school, he clerked for his father on real estate, small business transactions and litigation. He graduated number three in his class from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2017. While in law school, he received numerous scholastic awards and legal scholarships.
