Solon is known for his award-winning storytelling, legal writing, and thorough representation of clients. He also achieves successful out-of-court resolution of disputes and has experience in mediation between feuding parties. He works closely with clients to achieve results in a cost-efficient manner.
Solon graduated from American University Washington College of Law as a Dean's Fellow, Marshall-Brennan Fellow, and a member of the Journal of Gender, Policy, and the Law. He holds his Juris Doctorate and a Master's degree in Business Administration. Solon served as an intern for the Honorable Steven Platt at the Circuit Court of Prince George's County. Before becoming a partner with Remus Law, he worked for some of the largest law firms in Washington, DC, gathering eight years of experience with Skadden Arps and another nine years with Arnold & Porter.
Solon has published several books and articles covering a variety of topics including marriage, divorce, child custody, and real estate issues. Solon lectures at various churches within the Washington, DC area and teaches legal studies at the Paralegal Institutes of Washington. Solon is an author, an avid real estate investor, a Biblical scholar, and a compassionate, understanding lawyer.
Solon is a member of District of Columbia Bar and the Alabama Bar.
