Sheri Ann Forbes Murray

Kummer Kaempfer is an AV rated law firm with offices in Reno, Las Vegas and Carson City. The Firm's Transactional, Government Affairs and Litigation Departments are highly regarded in Nevada. Ms. Murray joined Kummer Kaempfer's Litigation department in April 2001. Before coming to the Firm, Ms. Murray worked as a Staff Attorney with the Nevada Supreme Court. Ms. Murray concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and appellate practice. Ms. Murray has successfully authored several appeals in the Nevada Supreme Court. In 2006 she second chaired and authored the 80 page opening brief in a construction law arbitration case before the American Arbitration Association that resulted in the largest award against the State of Nevada in the state’s history. ASSOCIATIONS/AFFILIATIONS Ms. Murray is admitted to practice in Nevada, California, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association and volunteers as an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. EDUCATION She received her Bachelor of Arts from University of California Los Angeles and her Juris Doctor from University of San Diego School of Law. In law school, Ms. Murray served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues.
