Matthew Jones

Matt Jones was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where he currently lives. He attended DePaul University and graduated in 2003. Afterward, while attending Michigan State College of Law, he held various law clerk and summer associate positions focusing on litigation, including a summer law clerk position with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. In law school, Matt was awarded the Jurisprudence Achievement Award in the following courses: Torts, Contracts II, Criminal Law, Bankruptcy, Corporate Finance, and Family Law. He graduated from law school summa cum laude in 2006. Matt has been with McHargue & Jones, LLC as an attorney since graduating from law school, and he was made a partner in the firm in 2011. He has dedicated his career to fighting diligently for the rights of injured workers in Illinois. He is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association.
