Mr. Johnson is a Criminal Defense Attorney based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since graduating from The California Western School of Law-J.D. in 1984, he has helped hundreds of clients navigate the Utah criminal justice system, with a high degree of success. He has decades of legal expertise in various aspects of criminal law. He has served as a District Court Pro Tem Judge, Deputy Salt Lake County District Attorney, Assistant Utah Attorney General and Assistant Salt Lake City Prosecutor. Mr. Johnson has also been an instructor at Salt Lake Community College and has served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army for the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate.

Mr. Johnson has practiced as the Conflict Attorney for both Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association and Summit County Public Defenders. He is also a FIVE time recipient of Utah Business Magazine's "Utah's 100 Elite Attorneys" in fields of Criminal Law or Government.
