James H. Woodall

Attorney James H. Woodall is an accomplished family lawyer with 30 years of experience. He is skilled both at the negotiating table and in the courtroom. Mr. Woodall has extensive experience with complex and high net worth divorce cases.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mr. Woodall worked in the offshore oil industry for several years. In search of a more competitive work environment, he enrolled in law school at the University of Utah, where he graduated second in his class. He earned his J.D. in 1988 and has since practiced in Utah, Nevada, Colorado, and Wyoming. Mr. Woodall is also retired from the Utah National Guard – he retired at the rank of Colonel after 22 years of service.

With a passion for practicing law and for serving others, Mr. Woodall works long hours – including weekends and holidays – in pursuit of positive results for his clients.
