Rodrigo Dias first joined the team at Ragghianti Freitas in 2006 as a law clerk and then in 2007 as an attorney. Mr. Dias immigrated to the United States from Portugal in 1976 and is fluent in speaking and writing Portuguese. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Dias served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves as an Air Delivery Specialist where he logged more than one hundred airborne jumps and was decorated with the National Defense Service Medal and the Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal. He was also awarded the Marine Corps Parachute Gold Wings. After obtaining his degree in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley, Mr. Dias studied Clinical Psychology at San Francisco State University where he obtained a Masters of Science degree. Mr. Dias went on to pursue his interests in helping individuals resolve personal and legal issues by attending law school at the University of San Francisco. While in law school, Mr. Dias interned at Wells Fargo Bank and at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. He was also the tutor for the first year civil procedure class and a member of the Saul Leftkowitz Trademark and Unfair Competition Law Moot Court team. Mr. Dias now practices general civil litigation and assists in all areas of legal services provided by Ragghianti Freitas.
