Joe Koncelik

Joe Koncelik is a partner at Frantz Ward in Cleveland and is head of the firm’s environmental practice. Prior to joining the firm, Joe served in the positions of Director, Assistant Director and Chief Legal Counsel of Ohio EPA. Joe has practical experience in all areas of state and federal environmental law, including laws governing hazardous waste clean up, brownfield redevelopment, solid waste, water, wetland and air regulation. Joe is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Ohio Chamber and is active on their environmental committees. Joe has made numerous presentations to business groups, professional associations and to public forums in the areas of his expertise. Specialties: Provide counsel and representation on environmental compliance, regulatory permitting, environmental due diligence for real estate and business transactions, and civil and administrative litigation. He also provides consulting services relating to environmental trends and policy, renewable energy and sustainability.
