Helene Herbert

As a family law attorney, Ms. Herbert’s practice includes contested and uncontested divorces; negotiating and drafting prenuptial agreements, marital property settlements, and separation agreements for domestic partnerships and civil unions; and resolving issues of alimony, child support, custody, and visitation rights. She also assists individuals and businesses in matters involving employment discrimination, sexual harassment and civil rights.

A native of northern New Jersey, Helene Herbert obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at William Paterson College of New Jersey, where she earned a place on the Dean’s List and the National Honor Society of Psychology Students. She later earned her Juris Doctor law degree across the Hudson at City University of New York, where she served on the Committee for Academic Standing, the Scholastic Standing Committee, and on the General Assembly for the Student Government.
