Practice Areas
Dina Doll is a corporate transactional attorney. She has represented clients in a diverse range of industries in transactions involving fund and company formations, private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and other securities issues. Her current practice emphasizes corporate and partnership formations. Specifically, she focuses on helping new and established companies organize their operations under existing laws to maximize protection for the individual directors and officers, while ensuring favorable tax treatment for the newly formed or reorganized business entity. She has significant experience in orchestrating mergers and acquisitions, facilitating venture-capital investments, creating stock-option and incentive plans, and preparing non-competition, non-circumvention, licensing, and employment agreements. She is committed to providing new and emerging businesses with the same quality of legal representation received by long-established institutions, and prides herself in providing the highest degree of responsiveness to her clients’ needs. Ms. Doll is a licensed mediator. She has mediated over 75 cases, both as part of the Los Angeles Superior Court mediation panel and as a private practitioner, including breach of contract, real property disputes, employment, general business, denial of insurance, business tort and personal injury claims, resolving a majority of these cases without the need for trial. She is thus able to provide clients with this additional expertise in alternative dispute resolution, before and after the filing of a complaint, resulting in the potential savings of significant legal fees and costs for her clients. Ms. Doll received her J.D. from the University of Southern California, where she served as Editor of the USC Law Review, and was elected Order of the Coif. During law school, she interned at the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. Ms. Doll received her B.A. in print journalism from the University of Southern California, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and graduated magnum cum laude. Before founding Doll Amir & Eley LLP, Ms. Doll practiced corporate law at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and served as a mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court as well as a principal of her own private mediation firm.
