He serves as a court-appointed private mediator for courts throughout the State of Texas. Mr. Higgins was recognized by Fort Worth magazine as one of Tarrant County's Top Mediators in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, and holds the highest (AV) legal rating awarded by Martindale-Hubbell. Formerly a litigation partner with a large regional law firm, Mr. Higgins has also recognized as one of Tarrant County's top business/commercial litigation attorneys. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Litigation and ADR Sections, the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Sections of the American Bar Association, the Association of Attorney-Mediators, and has served as a Barrister in the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court.
