Scott Kessler specializes in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury matters, including Motor Vehicle Accidents, Truck Accidents, Dog Bites and Slip and Fall accidents. Mr. Kessler was for many years Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Workers’ Compensation Attorney, a specialty designation earned by only 1/10 of one percent of all New Jersey lawyers.

Mr. Kessler’s name has frequently appeared on the annual “Super Lawyers” list published in New Jersey Monthly Magazine. Appearing in the New Jersey Supreme Court, he successfully fought to establish new legal precedents and expand the rights of injured workers in the Supreme Court case of Sager vs. O. A. Peterson Construction Co. He was the Acting Municipal Prosecutor for Freehold Borough from 1990 – 1991, and was the Managing Attorney of the Team Law Workers’ Compensation Department from 1991 – 2011.

Mr. Kessler graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980, and received his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 1988. He became licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, in 1988. He has been a Vice-President of The New Jersey Advisory Council on Safety and Health, a workers’ rights advocacy group, since 2008, and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
