Sid Davis
Collaborative Lawyer and Mediator
My entire career has involved negotiations, eight years as a national bank examiner, twenty-five years as a banker, the last nine years as a Mediator, including the last five years as a Collaborative Lawyer as well. I really enjoy the satisfaction that results from resolving disputes in a way that is beneficial to all the parties involved.
My Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) training, which includes negotiations, mediations, and collaboratives, totals over 300 hours, and includes 2 week-long workshops at Harvard.
My cases involve almost all civil matters, especially those involving businesses, banks, and families.
My education includes a bachelor's degree at Ole Miss in accounting, a master's at Alabama in banking and finance, and a law degree with distinction at the Mississippi College School of Law, where as a member of the Adjunct Faculty, I have co-taught the ADR class for 3 semesters.
