I was admitted to practice before all the courts in the State of California, the United States Federal Court, and the Court of Appeals in 1981 and, in 1982, the United States Tax Court and Court of Claims. I have been in private practice since 1981.

I am the author of a highly read Family Law textbook, currently in its fifth edition and publishjed by Aspen Publishers, titled "California Family Law for Paralegals." I am also the author of a detailed book that is useful for preparation for the California family law specialization exam, titled "Essentials of California Family Law."
