David Haron

Mr. Haron is a principal in the law firm, where he has represented numerous businesses and individuals in real estate and commercial transactional, planning and litigation related matters for over 30 years. He has also represented whistleblowers in cases involving retaliatory termination of employment and in federal False Claims/Qui Tam lawsuits in connection with false claims to the Federal Government. Mr. Haron represented the plaintiff in U.S. ex rel. Jeanne Byrne v. Damon Laboratories, Inc., a Qui Tam lawsuit resulting in a $119 million recovery for the United States because of over-billing of medical lab tests. Mr. Haron is also an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers. Mr. Haron has written extensively regarding fraud in the Medicare and Medicaid fields and the False Claims Act. Mr. Haron has been very active in the Michigan and Oakland County Bar Associations and is a past chairman of the Professionalism Committees of both of those Associations. He is the chairman of the Farmington Hills, Michigan Planning Commission, and the President of the Oakland County Bar Foundation.
